  1. The Dunedin Fine Art Center’s biggest exhibition of the year is opening with a reception on April 14 between 6 and 8 pm The #SMF exhibit will feature over 300 works of art and 200 artists, including DFAC students, members, and staff. Mediums featured in the exhibit include painting, pastels, colored pencils, photography, clay, printmaking, and more. Stop by to check out this free art exhibit through May 28. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
  2. Celebrate the Scottish American Society of Dunedin’s 40th anniversary on April 8 at 2 pm in Weaver Park. This exciting event will include live music by Skerryvore and The Byrne Brothers. Attendees will also get to enjoy a performance by The Isle of Skye Highland Dancers. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket! Food and drink vendors will be available on-site.   3. Now that the weather is warming up, you may be feeling inspired to get off the couch and do something active. If this sounds like you, check out Dunedin Parks & Recreation’s spring fitness programs! The city offers a ton of options for kids and adults to get outdoors and stay fit. Some activities include pickleball, tennis, yoga, Zumba, golf, and many more. Kids can enjoy the city’s Stirling Skate Park and participate in sports programs like youth flag football and track.
